How to?
Taking care of your baby's nails is a must for his or her health and safety. It's recommended to start doing this at 6 weeks old. Even though the nails look like some kind of membrane at an early age, the baby can still scratch himself/herself easily with them. Cotton gloves can offer protection, until you can start cutting your baby's nails.
Some tips
- Use nailscissors with rounded edges.
- Sanitize the scissors before use and start when your baby is calm.
- Cut the nails straight.
- Try to make sure that after cutting there are no sharp edges left on the little nails.
What do you need?
Baby's nails are very fragile and can tear easily, which can cause an inflammation of the cuticle. Therefore, it's important to use blunt and specialized products to cut nails. Thanks to the rounded edges of the specially designed babyscissors you exclude the chance of any wounds when baby makes sudden movements during grooming.
